I had a photo of a painting of Meister Eckhart, but he looks so somber in it. So I decided to try again. I knew this was the right one when I saw the butterfly. I didn't see the number 22 until after I chose it.

Anytime can be a new beginning. We don't have to wait for a New Moon or a new year. Do it when it feels right. When you get a sign or when you are finally ready to make that decision. Do it when you want to. Not when others tell you.

Be curious, be inspired but don't be forced. Let it flow gently with passion.

What else does the energy of number 3 mean?

Here it shows that it's a spiritually charged number.

It is a number well-used and used well in creative design projects. It puts photos and the pages they are on all in balance and harmony.

Being multiplied in sequence, the double 3s are amplified giving them a double dose of energy and magic.

Adding the numbers of the date, including each number in the year, reveals another number 3, which means the number is actually tripled. Three times the energy of magic. More energy for wishes being fulfilled, intentions becoming manifest.

Trust Your Intuition

Here is a sign that my spirit guides (butterfly and owl) are with me. When they show up together like this, I know I'm being lead by Soul. I may not know when...or where, but, I know it's there...to reach me, to teach me. To help me in the evolution of soul.

Butterflies teach the power of freedom.

Owl energy will help you to get silent and tap into and trust your intuition. It'll show you the wisdom of your soul is there to guide you with discernment and love.

Think about this:

If butterflies and owls were to continually show up together in your life...and you allowed their spirits to dance with you, what would you learn from their guidance?

It is not a requirement nor a necessity to seek the help of animal spiritual guides (totems). It can, however, be beneficial to one's wellbeing. Maybe you'll gain a new perspective from what you're used to. Maybe it'll bring a radical change into your life that you hadn't yet imagined.

If you've been thinking the same way, how will your actions be different? How will you be able to get different results?

Winter Solstice at Stonehenge - December 22, 2015

The winter solstice usually occurs on December 21. It being on December 22 was a surprise to me. Another surprise was when I googled for more information about it and found that Stonehenge is a significant part of this day as well as the summer solstice for many people. It's sacred for many.

Here is more information on the reason for December 22 being winter solstice this year rather than December 21.

"The term 'solstice' derives from the Latin word 'solstitium', meaning 'Sun standing still'. On this day the Sun seems to stand still at the Tropic of Capricorn and then reverses its direction as it reaches its southernmost position as seen from the Earth."

Mountain Meditation

Cultivating a meditation practice, day 27: You can take a girl out of the mountains...but you can't take the mountains out of a girl. This morning, I spent time meditating in reflection. I replaced myself in the Medicine Bow National forest (WY), and recalled my steps, breath, sweat and joy. "It's not possible to significantly change your life, for better or for worse, by manipulating the material world. Not by working harder, not by studying longer, not by schmoozing, not by sweating, not by fasting, not by the hair of your chinny chin chin. But great change is inescapable when you first begin manipulating the world of your thoughts." My goals are set, planned and written in ink. My vision is strong and unwavering. This photo appeared to me before the mountains with the heart view, but, following my intuition, I chose to save it for today.

Another tenant and I are supervisors in the computer lab in our apartment building. We help others with their computer and/or internet issues. He opens it up in the morning and we both usually lock up in the afternoon. Then we alternate on Saturdays, in which one of us opens and closes the lab. We have three other volunteers who help us at least once per week for a few hours each.

Although computers have been around for several decades and the World Wide Web since 1989, there are people who aren't computer nor internet literate. I'm happy to help, doing something that I enjoy. Computers!

Earlier today, while volunteering in the computer lab, all of the computers were being used and nobody needed help. So, I decided to read. I always bring a book just in case this happens.

I opened the book, but not to the page I was on, because it wasn't bookmarked. Rather, I opened it towards the middle. This I did without the intention of randomness. The page which opened up to me was a new chapter called, "Mountains".

Later, at home, an hour before I was aware of it's scheduled broadcast, the movie, "The Sound of Music" came on. Here is the song that I focused on the most. Of the many times I've seen the movie, it almost felt as though it was the first time hearing the song. Maybe it was. I mean really "hearing" it:


After all these years of my awareness of synchronicities and all that I've learned about them, I am often still in awe when they occur. I like that element of surprise. It's a high vibin' experience that never grows old or boring. It can surely be put on a list for ways to make one smile. At least those that are positive can.

Last night I asked the same question I always ask. What is the purpose of these synchronicities? Because of the movie which I wasn't expecting to come on when it did and my opening the book to see the Chapter, "Mountains", being revealed to me unexpectedly, I have more thoughts about the answer(s) to my question. I'll share what I come up with in my next post.

What a beautiful, sacred, learning experience for me. It is because of these experiences with synchronicities that have taught me the importance of awareness. Awareness in all that is part of this journey called "life".

What a magical way to celebrate my birthday! I've been quite focused on the magic of synchronicity today. Of all days, what a delight to have this card show up for me. I am only one among many who believe that synchronicity is magic. Those of us who do believe, are in good company.

When we can't logically explain events and experiences, we, the open-minded and even the healthy skeptics, call them mystical, magical...the closed-minded skeptics call them woo. That doesn't bother me. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. As long as they're not harming others.

The Breath and Synchronicity of Awareness

I gasped when I read this line: "Breathe through your eyes." And then, an ah-ha moment. Clarity. Acknowledgement. It's all spiritual. What I've said/thought many times since I had the dreams. Another quote from the book I've been reading, after finishing The Da Vinci Code: "It relaxes the muscles. It's called, pranayama." And then I smiled from the deepest recesses of my Being.

Whispers from God/Spirit/The Universe. Synchronicities. Always reminding us of the interconnectedness with the universe.

Synchronicities with fish. Why? What is the meaning of these events I've had in only a few days. I ask these questions and then I find this: Synchronicity - The Beauty of Coincidences.

What could the breath and synchronicity have to do with each other? Being in balance? Awareness? This sounds plausible.

Always be aware of the signs, symbols, coincidences and synchronicities that are all around you. As you do this, use your intuition to guide you along your path. Doing this will mean you are listening to your soul. And living from Soul.

Although you may not know exactly where the path is taking you, just know that by following the guidance of soul by paying attention to synchronicities and your intuition, you are on the right path. Remember, it's not the destination that matters, it's the journey.

Tarot Card - The Fool

The Major Arcana tarot cards are made up of 22 cards. They are numbered from 0 to 21. Some tarot readers put the Fool tarot card at the end, making it number 22.

The Fool, at the beginning of her journey, is the archetype, "child". She is free-spirited, pure and eager. Her message is one of eccentric choices. She lives in the moment, always curious and full of adventure. The Fool is not concerned about when or where the journey will end, for it is filled with wonder and infinite possibilities (0). For this reason, making it the "0" tarot card makes sense.

Some tarot card readers consider The Fool to be associated with the element "Air", while others say "Earth".  Associating planets to tarot cards is discretionary to the individual reader. It is said to be associated with the planet, Uranus. If and when I do it, it'll because of the synchronicities, because it's fun and because it makes sense to me.

It looks like the cat is trying to pull her away from the edge while she's enjoying herself trying to catch the butterfly without considering the risk of falling over the cliff. She doesn't have a care in the world.
